This section will have information on churches and graveyards I have been to and some information on some of the people buried there. I really like wandering round graveyards and, where possible, churches. Unfortunately, a lot of churches are now locked and only opened for services and heritage days but in some areas such as East Suffolk, they are open during the day for visitors. Where I can I will try to provide a short history of the church as well as photographs.
I will also occasionally include information on the people buried there, especially from my family history but also graves of people who may have other interesting stories to tell, For example, in All Saints graveyard, Rhodes, Middleton there is a grave for a family who were all buried on the same day. It turns out that the husband murdered his family and then committed killed himself.
