This section will have artlicles related to my family history research into both mine and also my husband’s families. I do not want to do a complete family history ie. grandparents, great grandparents on paternal and maternal sides, athough I will probably do a quick overall summary for each branch of the family.
I really want to concentrate on the more interesting people and families and write about their lives. For example, one of my great grandmothers was born in Liverpool, Lancashire, married three times, was abandoned by her second husband, married her third husband after living with him for a number of years and died in Oldham having moved there via a number of other places. Her aunt married and Italian musician and ice cream seller and died in poverty in Liverpool. It is the stories of people and families like this I would like to tell.
